Last November, I said that I am not impressed with DeviantART embracing AI, and that I was going to look into another site to post my art to (for the record, the AI nonsense isn't the only reason). Well, it's time to follow through on that. First off, I have opened up a Newgrounds account, and I want to turn that into my main gallery. In the meantime, I'm going to start uploading some of my older works there, and then all my new art will be going up there. Of course, I still post new art to other places too, like Tumblr, Instagram, and Twitter, so give those a follow if you haven't already. As for DeviantART...I don't know if I have the heart to completely deactivate the account. Not yet, anyway. For now, I will leave it as it is. At bare minimum, I simply won't be posting any new stuff here beyond status updates like my convention schedule or new listings on TeePublic or Storenvy. And should I do decide to deactivate this account altogether, what will happen to older stuff that

I've been tempted to migrate away from DA as my main portfolio, but the recent ignorance has made me actively open to a new platform. In case you haven't heard, DA was going to make everyone's content open to AI generators, with the option to turn "protection" on. I say "was going to", because the amount of backlash made them reconsider; instead, you now have the option to turn the "protection" off. Yeah, that's totally what the backlash was pushing for... I also use "protection" extremely loosely because...here's the problem. DeviantArt isn't exactly good at deterring art theft to begin with. Hell, randos repost people's art all the time, even if the artists are still active here. I guarantee the AI shmucks are going to take full advantage of that. *My* upload may say no to AI use, but someone, with the same image, is going to allow it. I see you are a fan of Thomas the Tank Engine and Godzilla. So am I. I like the 60s and 70s Godzilla and Thomas the Tank Engine and Friends was a huge part of my boyhood and I loved it.
